Roval CL 50 Wheelset
$1,750.00
After designing the CLX 50s, we realized that an affordable, race-worthy carbon wheelset was nowhere to be found—until the CL 50 was developed, that is. We paired our quiver-killing CLX 50 rim with DT Swiss Competition round spokes, our Aero Flange hubs with DT Swiss 350 internals, and steel bearings to deliver you an exceptional wheelset at a more than accessible price. Sharing rims with the CLX 50s, the CL 50s feature many of the benefits as their higher-end siblings. Even though the CL 50 is similar in weight to many wheels in the “lightweight” category, aerodynamics came at the forefront of the development. With this, we jumped headlong into Computational Fluid Dynamics computer modeling to arrive at various rim shapes that could make the CL 50 as fast and light as possible. It took a while, but we narrowed the rim shape down to three contenders that were then CNC machined into rims, built into wheels, and put into the Win Tunnel. In the tunnel, we tested every wheel, ours and the competition's, with a 24C tire (measuring 26C), as tires can drastically affect testing. We chose a modern-width tire to design our rims around, because they not only allow for less tire pressure (which results in more comfort and less rolling resistance) but are also just as aerodynamically efficient when paired with the correct rim width. Now it was time for final testing validation. The result? A 50mm-deep, 1465-gram clincher wheelset that's race-ready and wallet-friendly. - Rim Type: Carbon clincher, 2Bliss-Ready - Rim Material: Carbon - Braking Surface: Carbon Fiber - Brake Track Height: 12mm - Rim Depth: 50mm - Rim Width: 20.7mm internal, 29.4mm external - Front Spoke Pattern: Radial - Rear Spoke Pattern: Radial/Two-cross (2:1) - Spoke Count: 16 front, 21 rear - Spoke Type: DT Swiss Competition Race T-head - Nipple Type: DT Swiss Pro LockBrass hexagonal - Front Hub: Roval AF1, sealed cartridge bearings - Rear Hub: Roval AF1, sealed cartridge bearings, DT Swiss 350 internals, 11-speed - Assembly Method: Hand-built - Extras: Roval steel quick-releases, Roval tubeless plugs and valves, SwissStop Black Prince brake pads
Specialized Roval Traverse Carbon 148 27.5-inch Wheelset
$1,200.00
The trails in our neck of the woods get pretty hairy, pretty fast, so we've found them to be the perfect testing ground for tough, nimble wheels like our Traverse 27.5 Carbon. The steep climbs and descents helped inspire some pretty radical designs, and most importantly, left us with no doubt that these wheels will exceed your expectations. Let's talk about those expectations. They include everything from the ability to stay true after launching off drops to being light enough to efficiently pedal to the top of a climb—and they all begin with the rim. Our engineers knew they wanted carbon fiber, and with the inclusion of our Zero Bead Hook design, they were able to implement a continuous fiber layup across the sidewall and rim bed. And when paired with a whopping 30-millimeter internal rim width, you get a wheel that's super resilient to impact with low rolling resistance and incredible traction. You'll also find that it helps prevent "burping" during hard cornering, while making tubeless set up quick and easy. A wider rim does a variety of things for ride performance—it better supports the tire for increased confidence and grip, and it affords you the ability to run lower pressures to aid in the aforementioned, as well as spreading impact out over a larger surface area to reduce the risk of damage during impact. And when you combine this girth with the notoriously nimble and playful 27.5 platform, you’re left with an incredibly stiff, quick to accelerate wheelset that climbs just as well as it shreds descents. After designing the perfect trail rim, we kept our lightweight and durable design properties in mind with the wheel build, hand-lacing the rims DT Swiss 350 Classic hubs via 28 (front) and 28 (rear) DT Swiss Competition Race spokes and brass Pro Lock nipples. Inside, you'll find sealed cartridge bearings and a 36t quick engagement ratchet system for quick accelerations. We also wanted to ensure that each wheel was built correctly, and we found that this could only be achieved by hand. Machines, we found, have a tendency to miss little mistakes that humans would otherwise catch. Finally, with the 15x110 / 12x148mm variant, you receive all of the benefits that Boost spacing offers. By increasing the width of the front and rear hub flanges, and in turn, increasing frame and fork clearance and stiffness, you obtain a stiffer, stronger, and more durable system at a minor weight penalty. Each wheelset comes packaged with a SRAM XD driver, 11-speed freehub, and a tubeless valve stem in order to make tubeless set-up a touch easier. *Please note that Shimano freehubs are sold separately. - Rim Type: Carbon clincher, 2Bliss Ready, Zero Bead Hook design. Black graphic under clear coat. - Rim Material: Carbon fiber - Rim Width: 30mm internal - Front Spoke Pattern: Two-cross - Rear Spoke Pattern: Two-cross - Spoke Count: 28h Front, 28h Rear - Spoke Type: DT Swiss Competition Race - Nipple Type: DT Swiss Brass Pro Lock hexagonal - Front Hub: DT Swiss 350 Classic, 28h, 15x110mm thru-axle, 6-bolt, includes 15x110mm 19mm OD endcaps - Rear Hub: DT Swiss 350 Classic, 28h, 36t quick engagement ratchet system cassette, includes SRAM XX1 XD freehub - Includes 31mm OD end caps for front hub - Bearing Type: Sealed cartridge -Every wheel includes a tubeless valve stem in order to make tubeless set-up a touch easier. - Assembly Method: Hand-built - Total Wheelset Weight: 1700g
Roval CL 50 Disc Wheelset
$1,750.00
After designing the CLX 50s, we realized that an affordable, race-worthy carbon wheelset was nowhere to be found—until the CL 50 Disc was developed, that is. We paired our quiver-killing CLX 50 Disc rim with DT Swiss Competition round spokes, our Aero Flange Disc hubs with DT Swiss 350 internals, and steel bearings to deliver you an exceptional wheelset at a more than accessible price. Why disc you ask? With our disc-specific rims, you not only ditch the brake track, but you get a stronger, more impact-resistant rim. This comes at the hands of a disc-specific carbon layup that optimizes stiffness and keeps weight as close to its rim-brake brethren as possible. And all the while, you get incredible brake modulation and power in all conditions. Roval CLX 50 Disc Clincher Front
$1,100.00
First came our CLX 64. Then the 32s. And after racking up multiple wins in Grand Tours, Worlds, and everything in between, we knew that our best bet was to take the line to new heights, or well, new depths. We needed to design one wheel that was a true quiver killer. One wheel that had all the aerodynamic benefits of the 64 in a package that climbed like the 32, and that’s where the all-new CLX 50 comes in. When we set out to create the CLX 50 Disc, we had clear goals in mind—create wheels that are 48 to 54mm deep, aerodynamically optimized, ultra-wide, and under 1400 grams. This meant that they'd have to borrow some weight savings techniques that we developed for the CLX 32, take some aero guidance from the CLX 64, and keep all of the disc brake benefits that we've come to love if we were going to create what we like to call “the unicorn wheel." Why discs you ask? With our disc-specific rims, we ditch the brake track, making for a stronger, more impact-resistant rim. This way, you get a disc-specific carbon layup that optimizes stiffness, a weight as close to its rim-brake brethren as possible, and incredible brake modulation and power in all conditions. Even though the CLX 50 is similar in weight to many wheels in the “lightweight” category, aerodynamics came at the forefront of the development. With this, we jumped headlong into Computational Fluid Dynamics computer modeling to arrive at various rim shapes that could make the CLX 50 as fast and light as possible. It took a while, but we narrowed the rim shape down to three contenders that were then CNC-machined into rims, built into wheels, and put into the Win Tunnel. In the tunnel, we tested every wheel, ours and the competition's, with a 24C tire (measuring 26C), as tires can drastically affect testing. We chose a modern-width tire to design our rims around because they not only allow for less tire pressure (which results in more comfort and less rolling resistance) but are also just as aerodynamically efficient when paired with the correct rim width. After finding the optimized rim shape that best supported our svelte weight requirements, we opted to lace the rims to our Aero Flange (AF) hub, via 21 DT Swiss Aerolite spokes, which features the legendary CeramicSpeed bearings. This way you get a complete, superior wheel system—not just a quick rim. And at the end of the day, it all amounts to a 50mm-deep, 1415-gram clincher disc wheelset that's not only ~300 grams lighter than the competition’s similar depth wheel, but is also measurably faster in every conceivable test than each wheel in its category.

Mavic XA Pro Carbon 29-inch Rear
$953.95
Save energy on the climbs and rail rugged descents with higher speeds and total control. The XA Pro Carbon is the lightest wheel system in its category (1490g for 27.5” and 1535g for 29”). So you know it helps you climb and accelerate faster, but where it really shines is in the way it handles rough and challenging terrain. Mavic engineered a wide 26mm hookless rim profile that’s fully UST Tubeless compliant for improved traction, puncture resistance and ease of use. These asymmetric rims are fine-tuned to optimize spoke tension and they use 24 double-butted steel spokes to find the sweet spot between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. Hubs are 6-Bolt only and compatible with all current axle standards including Standard and Boost.

Armed against pinch flats with the patent-pending Wide Hookless Bead, the G23 is tough and relentless on road, path, or trail. The G23 is a 700c tubeless carbon clincher wheelset with a generous 23mm internal width, specifically conceived to meet the performance and ride quality demands of serious mixed-surface cyclists. Who It's For Created for those seeking to discover new experiences, new terrain, and new challenges. Built to reflect the versatility of today's gravel and mixed surface riders, these wheels will excite ambitious, daring, and indomitable riders everywhere. If your path leads to classics like Dirty Kanza, Landrun, Crusher in the Tushar, or a new wave of events like Grinduro or Lost and Found, the G23 is your wheel. Why We Made It There is a place between road and mountain that is open to discovery. Beyond the range of your trail bike or the capabilities of your road bike. Terrain littered with contradicting challenges and demanding requirements are at odds with the bikes and products available today. We built the new G23 to thrive in this new environment, because insights gained through building the world's best road and mountain bike rims told us that the perfect combination did not exist in our stable, or in our opinion, anywhere at all. The higher volume and lower pressures would demand MTB toughness and flat resistance, while big days and long miles would require the lightweight and efficiency of a road machine. Above all, the combination of rough and rigid would require a wheel with the ride quality to make those long miles enjoyable and multi-day treks possible.

Zipp 303 Firecrest Carbon Clincher Tubeless Disc Brake 700c Front
$1,150.00
The 303 brings a lot to the table, including heritage proven in the world's hardest races. At the center of the wheelset is Zipp's 77/177 hubset, which results in improved stiffness, durability, simplicity and versatility. The carbon wheel that helped pioneer the Firecrest rim platform for improved aerodynamics and crosswind stability also features the unspoken durability that has repeatedly won Paris Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders - Firecrest rim technology affords the rider more speed, more stability, and more strength. This technology offers stable, predictable handling, and the wider rim increases lateral stiffness while offering greater vertical compliance - Each wheel includes Zipp quick release skewer, end caps that can be swapped to run 12mm or 15mm thru axle; 1 Zipp 700c X 20mm rim tape, and 1 Zipp tubeless valve - 303 Firecrest Carbon Clincher Tubeless Disc Brake total wheelset weight is 1645 grams
